Comprehensive Eye Exams for Clear Vision and Healthy Eyes
Your eyes work hard every day, which is why regular eye exams are essential.
At Wink Family Eye Care, our comprehensive eye exams go far beyond determining a prescription. We evaluate the full visual system using advanced diagnostic technology to detect early signs of eye disease, monitor overall ocular health, and support lifelong vision wellness.
Whether you need glasses, contact lenses, or specialized care, our experienced team is here to guide you toward the best solutions for your vision and lifestyle.
Technology
Our eye doctors combine the latest computerized diagnostic tools with attentive, personalized care to assess your complete visual system. With your input, we tailor a vision correction plan that may include glasses, contact lenses, orthokeratology, or laser vision correction—whatever best fits your needs and lifestyle.
Comfort
We believe an eye exam should be a comfortable, stress-free experience for the entire family. Our clinics are designed to make you feel welcome and at ease from the moment you walk in.
Health
Our goal is to help you maintain healthy eyes and clear vision throughout your life. During every comprehensive exam, we use advanced microscopic and imaging techniques to screen for dry eyes, glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and other conditions—including signs of systemic diseases that can first appear in the eyes.
The Wink Exam
“I don’t want my eyes dilated!”
We have another option! The Optomap Retinal Camera captures a digital image of virtually your entire retina without dilation.
Both dilation and Optomap allow our eye doctors to get a view of your entire retina, which is important to rule out disease or weak areas that can lead to retinal detachments.
Disclaimer: In some cases, dilation may still be medically necessary—your doctor will advise you accordingly.
“Don’t Puff me!”
Ok, ok, we won’t. There is an alternative to “the puff,” and we have it!
“Which is better, 1 or 2? I DON’T KNOW!”
No pressure! Our clinics use digital phoropters to determine your glasses prescription faster and more accurately. And yes — sometimes “1” and “2” look the same.
“Ahh, the light is too bright!”
Okay, we can’t skip this one. Our doctors use a specialized microscope to examine your eyes. This is essential for diagnosing conditions like dry eye, pink eye, and even spotting signs of systemic health issues such as arthritis, diabetes, and heart disease.
